An infrastructure project manager is responsible for
managing the project’s schedule and plan, ensuring it adheres as close to the
project baseline in the case of linear infrastructure construction projects, Also

output, mitigating variables and risks caused by both internal & external

He is also responsible for the networking side of the infrastructure like upgrading the company's current network and expanding or moving to the cloud. Software side projects could be like upgrading the current CRM, ERP etc integrating tools to the current software and so on.
